LAHORE: Fifteen matches have been decided in the Trust Classic Squash League being staged in the Punjab capital city with three clubs out of six winning their maiden matches.

The President of the Punjab Squash Association, Malik Amjad Noon, told the media on Tuesday that the event was “a good opportunity for young squash players to nurture their talent”.

“Pakistan ruled the world of squash for a long period [the domination lasting for the best part of five decades] and this event is part of our endeavour to provide our players with every facility to groom them well and help them regain the lost glory,” he said.

In the matches played, the Mavericks won against the Strikers 4-1.
