KARACHI: A divergent trend was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the process of trading, dealers said.

On the cereals sector, Urad Burma lost Rs 200 to Rs 7000, wheat Bardan quoted higher at Rs 3240 and Rs 3275, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said.

On the grams side, grams Australia No.1 gained Rs 200 to Rs 11400, yellow peas Russia was up by Rs 150 to Rs 4800 and yellow peas Dall Russia, however, lost Rs 250 to Rs 5000, they said.

On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh shed Rs 25 to Rs 3450 and Rs 3500, other types did not move any side due to less buying interest among buyers, they said.Prices were unchanged on the seeds side, they observed
