ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has imposed 25 percent regulatory duty (RD) on the import of milk and cream, concentrated or containing sugar or other sweetening matter; whey powder and 15 percent RD tubular day lighting device from June 25, 2016.

According to the S.R.O.475 (I)/2016 issued here on Friday, the FBR has amended S.R.O.568(I)/2014, dated the 26th June,2014 pertaining to the imposition of regulatory duty.

Five percent RD has been imposed on the import of woven fabrics of synthetic filament yarn, including woven fabrics obtained from materials of heading 54.04; woven fabrics of artificial filament yarn, including woven fabrics obtained from materials of heading 54.05; Woven fabrics of synthetic staple fibres, containing 85% or more by weight of synthetic staple fibres; woven fabrics of synthetic staple fibres, containing less than 85% by weight of such fibres, mixed mainly or solely with cotton, of a weight not exceeding 170 g/m2; woven fabrics of synthetic staple fibres, containing less than 85% by weight of such fibres, mixed mainly or solely with cotton, of weight exceeding 170 g/m2; other woven fabrics of synthetic staple fibres and woven fabrics of artificial staple fibres.
