RECORDER REPORT

HYDERABAD: Politicians of opposition parties, who got their loans of billions waved off and named in Panama papers, should be made accountable following the example set by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by presenting himself for accountability.

The PM not only held the spirit of democracy and transparent governance high by submission before the public but he shattered the conspiracies against democratic system fabricated by political orphans, said Hanif Siddiqui, district president PML-N Hyderabad.

He was addressing a press conference along with Taluka president PML-N Latifabad Muhammad Ayoub Rajput, district vice president Abdul Waheed Inqlabi and other leaders at the press club on Tuesday.

People of Kashmir rejected hatred slogans of Bilawal Zardari and expressed confidence on sagacious leadership of Nawaz Sharif by mandating PML-N with a thumping majority in elections of AJK Legislative Assembly, he said, adding PPP had failed to deliver in Sindh during continuous rule of eight years in the province while the people were deprived of basic amenities and human rights.

PPP promoted corruption culture, usurped government lands, sold jobs and its leaders accumulated precious assets abroad and people of Sindh were abandoned to suffer feudal atrocities, unemployment, poverty and backwardness, he remarked.

Condition of second largest city of Sindh clearly mirrors the situation where sewerage and sanitation system had failed, roads and streets worn out, people do not even get clean drinking water while the ministers and leaders of PPP getting more prosper, he said.

PML-N local cadre deplored the nepotism of district administration and HAD officials who carried out development works in areas of their own choice and old city and Latifabad localities of the city were neglected in development plan. They termed it an obvious victimization of Hyderabad residents.
