KARACHI: The Met Office on Friday forecast mainly hot and humid weather for the most parts of the country in the next 24 hours. It said that rain-thunderstorm was expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat and Mardan divisions, besides FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan over the period.

“Seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. Weak monsoon currents are penetrating upper parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of the country and likely to affect during next two to three days,” it said.

Weather in the next 48 hours: Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha and Gilgit-Baltistan.
