KARACHI: The Met Office on Thursday forecast mainly hot and dry weather for the most parts of the country in next 24 hours.

However, it said that rain-thunderstorm was expected at a few places of Kashmir and adjoining Northeast Punjab over the period. “Continental air would prevail over most parts of the country,” it said.

Weather in the next 48 hours: Hot and dry weather is expected in the most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places of Hazara, Gujranwala and Lahore Divisions besides Kashmir.

Lahore received maximum 25mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours while Nokkundi, Dalbandin and Noorpurthal were the hottest place with 42 degree Celsius, each.
