PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said the Afghans are our brothers and every step will be taken to resolve the difficulties being faced by Afghan refugees, living here with legal support and permission.

He was talking to a 10-member delegation of Afghan Refugees who called him at Governor House, Peshawar on Thursday. Former provincial chief secretary Rustam Shah Momand also accompanied the delegation.

The Governor said that the Afghan refugees are living in Pakistan for the last 40 years and “we have been extending them every possible support and hospitality.”

Now, he said, when they are going back to their home country, Afghanistan they will be given farewell with honour and dignity.
