LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar M. Khan has felicitated skipper Misbahul Haq and the team’s members and officials over victory against West Indies in the first Test.

In a message to Misbah, Khan said: “My heartfelt congratulations over victory against West Indies in the first Test. My felicitations especially to Azher Ali for his triple centuries that contributed to the win.”

Moreover, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated national cricket team on winning first test match against West Indies.

“Pakistan achieved success due to triple century of Azhar Ali and excellent bowling by Yasir Shah. By scoring triple century, Azhar Ali has played best innings in test match while Yasir Shah has become Asian bowler taking fastest century of wickets due to his spin bowling,” he said.

He expressed the hope that national cricket team will display outstanding performance in coming test matches against West Indies as well.
