ISLAMABAD: Pakistani artists have termed visit to China, a truly memorable experience and lauded rich culture of People’s Republic of China.

The exhibition ‘Collective Vision - China in the eyes of Pakistani Artists’ was initiated by the Embassy of China in Pakistan to promote and support exchanges and cooperation in the field of art and culture.

This exhibition comprises of art works of eight Pakistani artists from different regions of the country who were part of a twelve member delegation to visit Chinese cities of Urumqi, Xi’an, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Tongli and Beijing in December 2015.

Artist Noshi Savul Qadir of Tanzara Gallery said that the visit of Pakistani artists to China was a truly a memorable experience for everyone.

She said this exhibition “Collective Vision - China in the eyes of Pakistani artist” is a commendable initiative taken by the Embassy of China in Pakistan to promote inter-cultural exchange between the two countries.

Another artist Abdul Jabbar Gul said that being a painter, he was thoroughly impressed by Chinese art, the astonishing varied landscape and its wonderful people during visit to China.

Painter and Sculptor Asad-ur-Rehman said that “ A great ancient civilization, few words can’t describe our visit to China”.

N.H. Niazi said as a miniature painter, the opportunity to visit rich provinces and the wide exposure to the arts in China was a thrilling experience for me.

He said the exquisite calligraphic art and miniature tradition was inspiring and invigorating. The rich cultural tradition, well preserved sites, heritage architecture and friendly people added to this wonderful impression of a historical land with hospitable people.—APP
