CHICAGO: Basis bids for hard red winter (HRW) wheat in the southern US Midwest declined 2 cents per bushel for trains headed to the US Gulf Coast on Thursday, dealers said.

They said bids elsewhere were unchanged at interior elevators after futures pulled back from Wednesday’s highs.

Chicago Board of Trade K.C. wheat were steady, underpinned by better-than-expected weekly wheat export sales on Thursday. Profit-taking and ample global supply outlook limited market advances.—Reuters
