HYDERABAD: Career Development Center (CDC)of Isra university organized Job & Trade Fair at its Hyderabad campus on 25th November, 2016 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. CDC has been practicing this annual fair since 2014 as it believes in building bridge between unemployed youth and recruiters.
Event was inaugurated by DIG Hyderabad Khadim Rind along with the Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asadullah Kazi, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ghulam Qadir Kazi, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Hameedullah Kazi, Chairperson Management Science Department Dr. Qamar-ud-din Mahar and Deputy Director- ORIC Zafar Siddiqui, Manager-ORIC Riaz Shaikh, Assistant Manager-ORIC Faraz Shaikh, Assistant Manager-CDC Ms. Wafa Pathan.
Chief guest appreciated efforts of Isra University in providing employment opportunity to the youth of Hyderabad at no cost. He expressed his expectations from other academic institutes to take similar actions for their society's betterment. Ceremony was followed by visiting participating companies and unemployed youth.
Event was graced with the presence of prestigious universities from different provinces of Pakistan which includes Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, Gilgit and Baltistan.
Guests expressed appreciation and encouraged Isra University for making genuine efforts in facilitating unemployed youth with affable environment in the capacity of academia. They exhibited trust in quality education and partnership.
Event was carried by more than 60 distinguished companies, organizations, institutes and firms including National and International from various sectors.
The prominent participating companies of this fair were; State Bank of Pakistan, Pakistan Stock Exchange, Mobilink, Zong, Telenor, HBL, MCB Islamic Bank, UBL, AGM Pharma, Unique, ICMA etc.
Event was acknowledged by unemployed youth from Hyderabad and its surroundings who visited their desired Company/Organization/Institute stalls and applied for jobs in on-spot recruitment. Event was adorned moreover with the presence of students from different universities and institutes.
Event was concluded with awarding ceremony for participating companies and the organizer. Further, it was followed by a group photo and was facilitated with official lunch for participating companies with Isra's official dignitaries.
