KARACHI: NAB Karachi organised Anti-Corruption walk yesterday in line with the International Anti-Corruption Day which is observed every year under United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC). Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), Government of Sindh and Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) Karachi actively collaborated with NAB Karachi in organising the event.

The Anti-Corruption Walk commenced at 3 pm from floating ship point and ended at Nishan-e-Pakistan Park at Karachi beach. DG NAB (K) Lt-Col Siraj-ul-Naeem (Retd) led the walk along with senior officers of the NAB including Maj Shabbir Ahmed (Retd), Farmanullah Khan, Zafar Iqbal, Dr Abdul Qayoom Soomro, Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr, Miss Nusrat Saher Abbasi, MPA PML-F, Wajid Ali Khan Durani, Ex-IG, Ghulam Qadir Thebo, Chairman ACE, Hasan Bakhsi, Vice chairman ABAD, Mr. Rizwan, President Electronic Association and other dignitaries also participated.

A large number of people from all walks of life participated in the walk including, politicians, members of senior bureaucracy, educational institutions, Government Departments and members of civil society and general public.

DG NAB (K) Siraj ul Naeem while delivering welcome speech extended gratitude to the participants and highlighted the importance of public awareness events.— PR
