DAVOS: American business magnate and founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, here on Thursday.

Bill Gates appreciated the tremendous successes made by Pakistan in polio eradication.

He said the Pakistani government has worked diligently during the last three years to eradicate Polio virus from the country.

Bill Gates also said he is looking forward to a visit to Pakistan in the coming months.

Speaking on the occasion, Nawaz Sharif said all resources are being fully utilized for achieving a polio free Pakistan and ensuring healthy future generations. He apprised Bill Gates of the measures taken by his government in the national fight against polio. He said the federal and all provincial governments including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan are collectively involved in efforts towards polio eradication.—NNI
