KARACHI: A local anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday issued red warrant for founder of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and ordered his arrest.

According to details, the court directed the arrest of the MQM founder with the help of Interpol.

The court also issued important directives to interior ministry in a case of anti-state speeches and media houses attack.

The court voiced displeasure over non-arrest of other absconding accused including Amir Liaquat, and said Amir Liaquat is getting his 2000-yard bungalow constructed and is daily seen on television.

The ATC again issued non-bailable arrest warrant for other accused including Amir Liaquat, Dr Farooq Sattar.

SP Faizullah Korejo requested the court to grant him time to arrest the absconders.—NNI
