ISLAMABAD: British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Thomas Drew called on Federal Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to discuss matters of mutual interest, says a press release issued here on Thursday.

They also exchanged views on bilateral ties, security issues, regional issues and collaboration between the two countries.

Thomas Drew condemned the recent terrorism wave in the country and expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives.

Nisar said that Pakistan is determined to root out

menace of terrorism from its soil.

He said that terrorism is not only affecting a single country but it is a danger to the peace of the whole world.

He urged the international community to play its role in war against terrorism.

Thomas Drew said that British government and people have great respect for the sacrifices of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism and they will continue support in this regard.—PR
