KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Majlis-e-Wehdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) have condemned the blast in Parachinar in which 24 people were killed while dozens other injured outside an Imam Bargah on Friday.

To denounce the attack, MWM held a protest demonstration outside Masjid-e-Noorul Iman here. Participants including men, women and children were holding banners and placards inscribed slogans against a militant organization operating in the country.

They said the government despite launching anti-terrorists operations, has failed to protect the lives of innocent people as they are being brutally killed. While on other hand, they alleged that terrorists and their facilitators were moving across the country with no fear of apprehension.

Prominent religious leader Allama Mirza Yousuf, Allama Mubashir Hassan and Allama Azhar Naqvi spoke to the protesters on this occasion.

Meanwhile Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his message said that PPP was leading anti-terrorism narrative in the country and every incident of terrorism brings more tears to every Pakistani.

Bilawal expressed sympathy and solidarity with the families of blast victim and urged for provision of best possible medical treatment to those injured.
