ROTTERDAM: Soyameal on the European meals and feeds market was offered in a tight range on Friday due to a lack of fresh leads.

South American soyameal was mostly offered between $3 a tonne up and $2 down from Thursday, underpinned by technical buying in CBOT soyameal futures. Buyers remained sidelined and no trades were reported. EU rapemeal was quoted between unchanged and four euros per tonne up. Gains were booked in old crop positions on concerns over tight supplies towards the end of the 2016/17 crop season which ends in July. Bids were scarce and no business was seen.—Reuters
