FAISALABAD: Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani and Mayor Municipal Corporation Muhammad Razaaq Malik jointly visited the Ramazan Bazars in different localities in the city and checked the quality of the essential commodities and other arrangements for the facilities of the consumers.

They went to Ramazan Bazars Riaz Shaid Chowk and Kaleem Shaheed Park Ghulam Muhammadabad and checked the availability and quality of the vegetables, fruits and other grocery items. They also observed the difference in prices of open market and Ramazan bazaars

and interacted with the customers and inquired about the Ramazan bazaar arrangements made by the district administration under the order of CM Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. They assured that provision of quality food items would continue in these bazaars on reduced prices.

They also checked the complaint register and directed the staff for immediate redressal of any complaint by the consumers for his full satisfaction.

They observed the sale process of cheap sugar and flour and directed that no consumer should be deprived from subsidized flour and sugar. Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani informed the Mayor MCF that 19 Ramazan Bazars were working in the district out of them 13 Ramazan Bazars had been set up in the city areas. He said that comprehensive mechanism was being followed for smooth supply of vegetables, fruits, pulses, meat, poultry and other kitchen items.

Mayor Municipal Corporation Muhammad Razaaq Malik appreciated the efforts and labour of the Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani and his team for successful holding of Ramazan bazaars and said that the rush of the customers was a clear cut proof of full confidence of public on these bazaars.

He lauded the Ramazan package of CM Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and said that the people were being provided every possible economic relief through vast network of Ramazan bazaars in the province.

He maintained that full cooperation would be continued by the MCF for the smooth running of the Ramazan bazaars for the welfare of the common man.
