KARACHI: As expected, the governor Sindh Zubair has refused to sign National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws revoking bill 2017 saying it was against the people’s interests that prompted the dismay of Sindh government and it announced that bill will be passed from Sindh Assembly.

Sources told that governor Sindh has refused to sign the revoking NAB law bill 2017 and returned to chief minister.

Governor Sindh has the stance that the bill was not accordance with the public wishes and interests and provincial assembly has not right to make ineffective federal laws.

He asked the CM that the bill clashed with the federal law, therefore provincial assembly should have to review it again.

In his reaction, provincial law minister Ziaulhassan Linjar said that Sindh government will present the governor message and bill in Sindh assembly as the final decision will be taken by Sindh assembly.—INP
