LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal here on Thursday met a 25-member delegation of Baluchistan, Azad Kashmir & Baltistan assemblies.

He stressed upon them the importance of education, which he averred their respective governments should undertake with fervor and as a mission. The 25-member delegation was led by Deputy Speaker Azad Jammu & Kashmir Assembly Sardar Farooq Tahir, Deputy Speaker Gilgit Baltistan Assembly Jaffar Ullah Khan. Punjab Assembly Speaker asked the delegation to a play a role of bringing people of different areas close to each other.

He stated by doing this, governments of different areas of the country would be able to solve problems in an easier way.

He gave presents to visiting legislators on the occasion.
