LAHORE: A shop belonging to an expatriate Pakistani, worth Rs 10 million has been retrieved from the illegal possession.

Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab Afzaal Bhatti, while giving details in this regard informed that Jahangir Sardar, settled in Brooklyn, USA, lodged a complaint that tenant has refused to vacate his shop in Daulat Nagar, District Gujrat.

OPC initiated process on this complaint and with the assistance of the members of District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Gujrat, the shop was vacated and handed over to its original owner. Afzaal Bhatti further said that Overseas Pakistanis can contact OPC, anytime for the redressal of their complaints and so far thousands of complaints of expatriates have been resolved with the help of OPC.
