ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday chaired a meeting held at PM Office regarding the affairs related to Roosevelt Hotel, New York.

Secretary Aviation Division briefed the meeting in detail about the financial condition of the hotel and the reducing scale of return on investment.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi stated that government considers Roosevelt Hotel as an important historical building owned by the State and that its divestment is not an option.

He further said that apart from being a valuable property, the Hotel also carries cultural significance for Pakistan.—INP
