LAHORE: Another violent religio/political crisis is looming large on Pakistan’s political horizon as the deadline agreed between the leaders of Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah and the government for making public the report compiled by Senator Raja Zafarul Haq regarding change in the Khatm-i-Naboowat oath in the Elections Act 2017 and holding accountable the persons responsible for this crime ends tomorrow.

It may be recalled that Maulana Asif Jalali led faction of Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYRA), which had been holding a sit-in outside the Punjab Assembly in Lahore for seven days ended their protest on 2nd December after both the sides agreed to publish the report compiled by the Raja Zafarul Haq committee by December 20.

The two sides also agreed that the federal government will act upon the points agreed with Maulana Khadim Hussain Rizvi to end the sit-in at Faizabad in Islamabad last month. Including action against the elements responsible for attempted change in the oath

Meanwhile the fire brand head of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Allama Tahirul Qadri said here on Monday that he would launch a movement with cooperation of other opposition parties to bring Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif to justice for murdering 14 PAT workers and injuring more than hundred others at Model Town Lahore in June 2014.
