ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Mariyam Aurangzeb said on Monday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) does not care about such politicians who flip-flop towards the highest bidder.

“The flip-floppers did nothing in their constituency despite receiving funds over a span of 4.5 years. Months prior to elections, these sort of things happen and the flip-floppers turn towards the highest bidder,” Marriyum Aurangzeb said while speaking to a ceremony in Islamabad.

She continued those who have changed their loyalties are the same ones who did not vote for Nawaz Sharif during party elections.

“The public will reject those who change loyalties,” she added.

Lauding PML-N leaders Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, Mariyam said the works of Shahbaz in Punjab, particularly South Punjab, and Nawaz’s works in Pakistan are exemplary.

Earlier, six MNAs and 2 MPAs from PML-N including Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, Aalim Dar Lalika, Basit Bukhari, Syed Asghar Ali Shah and Rana Qasim Noon parted ways with the party and announced to struggle for the cause of south Punjab province.
