RECORDER REPORT

ISLAMABAD: The presiding officers on Tuesday received election material from Islamabad Model College for Boys, F-8/4, for the general election scheduled today.

The presiding officers and their staff collected election material including ballot boxes, seals, ink, ballot papers and other necessary items and went to assigned polling stations of three constituencies of Islamabad under the tight security of police and army personnel.

The returning officers, who were handed the election material by the Election Commission of Pakistan amid tight security earlier this week, are delivering it to the presiding officers at the polling stations under the security cover of police and the army.

A presiding officer while talking to Business Recorder said, “We will complete all arrangements for voting by today (Tuesday).

We will shift election material with security escort of police and the army to polling stations.”
