KARACHI: Major General Umar Bukhari on Saturday takes charge as Director General Sindh Rangers here in Rangers HQ.

As per details, DG Rangers has taken the command from outgoing DG Rangers Major General Muhammad Saeed in a simple but impressive ceremony at the Ranger Head Quarters in Karachi. He also laid floral wreath on ‘Yadgar-e-Shuhda’ and recited ‘Fateha’ after assuming the charge. Newly appointed DG Rangers Major General Umar Bukhari possessed an impressive track record in service after gaining a commission in 1991. He was commissioned in PMA Long Course 84 of Pakistan Army.—INP
