PITBís project Plan9 signs MoU with Capital Factory
LAHORE: Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB)ís project Plan9 has bagged another achievement for Pakistan in collaboration with Austin City of Texas by signing another MoU with Capital Factory Ė Touchdown Austin programme to enhance foreign in-market startup incubator/accelerator programs and both public/private funds through a multiphase US market entry boot camp. Moreover it will prepare startups/SMEs for US market entry via commercialization training, mentoring, marketing & sales consulting, access to funding/VCs/Angel, financial & accounting expertise and customer acquisition support.
Dr Umar Saif, Chairman PITB congratulated Plan9 team and hoped that the MoU would tap into the delivery and management of the Global Market Access Programme (GMAP), a three phase business acceleration programme designed to rapidly and strategically assist foreign technology companies entering the US market with the least amount of risk.
These efforts would help spur innovation and venture forming as GMAP was designed to filter & identify high potential ventures (HPV) through a custom series of boot camps furthering US market based value proposition, he added.
