MCL to organize cricket tournament from 23rd
PESHAWAR: The Organizers of the first Media Cricket League (MCL) have unveiled the plan to organize number of sports activities, and announced to hold a mega cricket tournament from April 23.
In this connection, a Peshawar Press Club Sports Committee in collaboration with Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) held the launching of ‘Logo’ for First Media Cricket League at press club here on Thursday. The RMI Director Administration, retired Col Tariq Khan was chief guest on the occasion.
Tariq Khan said that RMI has played pivotal role in provision of best healthcare facilities people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as it was equipped with latest testing gadgets and machines on modern lines.
He said that the medical institute has undertaken number of health reforms initiatives under the public-private partnership with the incumbent government in the province. He said the treatment of poor patients was carried out under the KP government Health Card. Besides, he said the initiatives in health sector; RMI is keenly focused on sports activities as well.
Later, the Peshawar Press Club sports committee chairman announced the schedule for holding Cricket League from April 23 to May 7 in Peshawar.
