CHICAGO: ICE Canadian canola futures firmed in light-volume trade on Tuesday, with traders citing strength in US soybean futures as a source of support.
Strength in the Canadian dollar tempered gains in canola despite some concerns about a slow pace of planting.
July canola rose $1.80 to $525.10 per tonne.
New-crop November canola gained $1.60 to $506.10 per tonne.
