PCMEA reviews expo arrangements
LAHORE: The Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) in its meeting on Thursday reviewed arrangements for holding 35th Pakistan International Carpet Exhibition 2017.
The associationís chairman, Usman Ghani presided over the meeting which was briefed that the government has not released funds worth Rs 5 million for holding of the exhibition. The meeting demanded of the government to increase the funds as over 130 foreign delegates are likely to attend the event. The meeting also asked the industry-related people to submit their suggestions to improve the entire carpet sector and arrangements of the exhibition.The meeting also expressed its satisfaction over termination of goods transporters strike and stressed the need for highlighting positive portrait of the country to attract the foreign investors.
