KARACHI: Fog and smog with variable intensity is likely to prevail across country, some PIA flights have been cancelled or revised for Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to PIA spokesman, the flights have been revised for Tuesday due to weather conditions are: PK 582, PK 583 Karachi-Rahim Yar Khan-Karachi, PK 390, PK391 Karachi-Sukkur-Islamabad-Sukkur-Karachi, PK 588 and PK589 for the sectors Karachi-Bahawalpur-Karachi have been cancelled.

PK 340 & PK 341 for the sector Karachi-Faisalabad-Karachi will operate as Karachi-Lahore-Karachi.

PK 764 Jeddah-Faisalabad will now operate as Jeddah-Lahore and PK 717 Faisalabad-Madinah will operate as Lahore-Madinah.

Meanwhile following flights have been revised for November 8 due to expected adverse weather conditions are: PK 582, PK 583 Karachi-Rahim Yar Khan-Lahore-Rahim Yar Khan-Karachi will now be operated as Karachi-Lahore-Karachi.

PK 588, PK589 for the sectors Karachi-Bahawalpur-Karachi, PK 684 & PK 683 Multan-Lahore-Multan has been cancelled.

PK 340 & PK 341 for the sector Karachi-Faisalabad-Karachi will operate as Karachi-Lahore-Karachi.

PIA spokesman said that the weather condition is expected to prevail for the next few days and is beyond the control of the airline. PIA has to adjust the timings of its flights due to such weather conditions, as the airline cannot operate flights with poor visibility and also keeping in view the safety requirements. This, results in either cancellation of the flights or flights operated with delays.
