KARACHI: The country’s liquid foreign exchange reserves posted an increase of $115.4 million during last week.

According to weekly report issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Thursday, the country’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves surged to $ 15.577 billion as on November 22, 2019 compared to $ 15.462 billion on November 15, 2019.

During the week under review, the SBP’s reserves increased by $ 240 million to $8.682 billion up from $ 8.442 billion due to official inflows. However, foreign exchange reserves held by banks declined by $ 124.8 million to $6.895 billion at the end of last week.
