Russian woman approaches LHC

LAHORE: A Russian woman has approached the Lahore High Court for custody of her daughter from Pakistani husband. She submitted petition that she had married to a Pakistani, Ahmad Naseem of Gujranawala, in Japan about six years ago. She mentioned that she accepted Islam before marriage and her Islamic name was Ayesha.

The petitioner said when she gave birth to a baby, her husband proposed that the child should be sent to Pakistan for Islamic education but she refused. On her refusal, her husband took away the minor and came to Pakistan, she mentioned.
