KARACHI: President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Abdullah Zaki has expressed deep gratitude to Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon for timely resolving the issue of water and gas which could have resulted in severe shortages of these key inputs.

In a statement issued, here on Thursday, President KCCI said that the Karachi Chamber took up the issue of the likely gas and water crisis to be faced by Karachi city with all concerned authorities and appreciates their cooperation in resolving this issue, which would ensure smooth functioning of all industrial units.

He urged the Sindh government to ensure smooth supply of basic inputs to the industrial sector of Karachi in future otherwise it will terribly affect the economic performance of Karachi city which contributes more than 68 percent to the national exchequer.
