PESHAWAR: Shabab Milli, a student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, on Monday announced to hold a ‘Youth Festival’ in Peshawar, in which jobless youth would be guided on modern scientific methods and special training would also be arranged for youth.

Addressing a news conference here at Peshawar Press Club, Hafiz Hameedullah, District President of the Shabab-e-Milli, said that a two-day youth festival would organized next moth on March 22, 23 at Jinnah Park in provincial metropolis Peshawar. Criticizing the PML-Nawaz led Punjab and PPP-led Sindh government for squandering public money on holding festivals in their respective provinces; he said they (Shabab-e-Milli) will bear all the expanses of the festival.

“We will hold a historical festival, in which various taste for youth like sports gala, entertainment, food stalls, academic and knowledge oriented, literary sessions and cultural activities under the same floor would be provided, he claimed. He also said that youth from all over the province would be participated in the two-day entertaining-cum-informative festival.

Flanked by party General Secretary Mian Ziaud Din, vice president Noor Ghulam, and vice president Muhammad Iqbal, he informed that 24 different committees were made to handle the responsibility for holding a successful event. He added in the festival, programmes were kept while keeping in view the interest and curiosity of people belonging to all age group, in which special video shows, cultural programs and entertainment sessions.

To give an entertaining opportunity the people of militancy hit province, in the existing worsening law and order situations, Hameedulah said that important personalities belonging to different walks of life including Sports, Chambers, Gems and trade sector.
