LAHORE: The Institute for Policy Reforms (IPR) will hold a session on Provincial Budget Proposals for Fiscal Year 2014-15 at a local hotel.

Earlier, the IPR has put forward detailed analysis of the Federal budget 2014-15, looking upon the budgetary figures from all possible perspectives.

Launched in early March, the IPR is an independent and non-partisan think-tank to support policymaking in Pakistan. Former Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of IPR. Dr. Hafiz Pasha is the Managing Director of the IPR. The IPR has been set up to strive for practical and actionable solutions of economic challenges, in a qualitative, independent and credible way with the help of a team of experts.

The economic experts, analysts and stakeholders have been invited to the Tuesday session on the upcoming Punjab government budget. Both Humayun Akhtar and Dr Hafiz Pasha would apprise the audience about the proposals of the IPR on the subject.—PR
