KARACHI: Flight PK 295 of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) on Friday afternoon made an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), following the bird-hit incident.

According to sources, PK-295, which took off from Rahim Yar Khan at around 11:30am for Abu Dhabi, was hit by a bird during flight that resulted an emergency landing at JIAP on Friday afternoon.

When contacted, PIA spokesman Aamir Memon confirmed the said incident, saying that A-320 had faced bird-hit incident during flight to Abu Dhabi from Rahim Yar Khan. He said that aircraft had landed at JIAP safely and airline engineering had removed all technical faults that enable the aircraft to resume its operations at around 5:30pm.
