BHAKKAR: A bullet riddled body of an unidentified woman was recovered from a canal here on Wednesday.

Police said that locals spotted presence of dead body in Head Firdous of Thal Canal in Bhakkar after which the police reached the scene.

The body was shifted to a hospital for post-mortem and to ascertain her identification. Police said that the deceased was shot dead and body was dumped in the canal.—INP
