LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Punjab Organiser Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar has said the country will see general elections instead of by-elections, if PTI parliamentarians be de-seated. The PTI will not compromise on its principles and ideology and ready for any sacrifice, he said and added that the PTI had the capacity to defeat its opponents in the elections. He said the PTI was united under the leadership of Imran Khan.

In a speech to a delegation of party’s women workers led by Member of the Punjab Assembly Doctor Nosheen Hamid, Aneela Beg, Samina Suhail, Neelum Irshad, Aneela Malik and Irum Bukhari, Chaudhary Sarwar told party workers to continue their election campaign.

He claimed that the Insaf was currently “a true opposition party” in the assembly and that if its legislators were de-seated, there would be general elections instead of by-elections. He said the Insaf would be ready for any sacrifice for its principled and ideological politics.

Organiser Sarwar also claimed that his party was becoming strong with every passing day and it was ready to win people’s confidence and put country on the path of progress and prosperity. He stressed that the party workers should continue election campaign because the Insaf would not allow the rulers to delay the local body elections. He also acknowledged party women workers’ role in party’s strengthening and spreading Imran Khan’s message door-to-door.

He said the Insaf would ensure that women get their due rights.
