LONDON: Lord Nazir Ahmed, a member of the British House of Lords, on Saturday lashed out at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain, stating that Hussain’s speeches could be termed “treason with Pakistan.”

Hussain has been in hot water for using threatening language against Rangers personnel who raided the MQM headquarters Nine Zero on March 11, and asked for intervention by foreign institutions and countries in the internal matters of Pakistan.

MQM will split in different groups if Altaf Hussain is convicted for the crime, he said.

He said no one can raise question on intelligence agencies in Britain. Giving remarks on Imran Farooq murder case, Lord Nazir said those involved in his assassination are panicking now.—INP
