ISLAMABAD: Dacoits and car lifters have made successful attempts in the different parts of heavily guarded federal Capital within one week, looting gold ornaments, cash, mobile phones and making their escape with five vehicles as well as motorbikes.

According to data gathered by Business Recorder, city police have registered five cases of auto theft, seven cases of robberies and one case each of murder and kidnapping whereas 11 cases of dishonored cheques during last week.

During last week Koshar police station registered two cases of dishonored cheques and one case of auto theft. Auto thieves have stolen a corolla car from sector F-7/1 and escaped from the scene.

Similarly, Bara Kahu police registered two cases of dishonored cheques and one case of robbery during last week. Unknown robbers broke into the shop of Asghar Khan at Abdullah Town and took away 31 batteries as well as seven UPS.

Industrial Area police station registered two cases of auto theft and registered one case of fake cheque. Auto thieves have stolen a bike (RIK-2922) from Sunday Bazar parking while lifted a bike.

Karachi Company police station registered one case of robbery and dishonored cheque. Ghulam Rasool Laghari of Sector G-9/2 lodged a compliant that unknown robbers entered into his house and took away gold ornaments, prize bond and three mobile phones.

During last week Golra Sharif police registered two cases of robbery. Unknown robbers broke into the house of Dr Nawaz Hussain, resident of Sector G-13/4 and took away cash and gold ornaments. Mohammad Naeem of Sector G-13/2 lodged a complaint with Golra police station that unknown robbers made good escape with LCD, UPS and other valuables.

Secretariat police registered one case of murder and mobile snatching during last week. Raja Abid Hussain of Rawal dam lodged a complaint with Secretariat police station that the accused Raja Mujahid, Raja Akhatar and Muhammad Javed opened fire at his son Raja Owais and his brother Raja Aamir Hussain as a result his brother succumbed to injuries.

Muhammad Umer of Bani Gala was walking along with his wife when two unknown person snatched mobile phone from his wife.

Margalla police registered one case of fake cheque and auto theft while Shalimar police registered three cases of dishonored cheque.

Khana police station registered one case of kidnapping, Nilor police station registered one case of robbery, Sihala police station registered one case of robbery and Aabpra police station registered one case of dishonored cheque.
