Baloch separatists agree to talk to govt?

LONDON: Baloch separatist leaders have reportedly agre-ed to engage in a dialogue with the Pakistani government - a crucial breakthrough reportedly facilitated by Britain as part of backdoor diplomacy. According to sources, Baloch separatist leaders have agreed to talk to the government because of efforts made by the British officials.

The dissident Baloch leaders

can also announce their return to Pakistan anytime soon, sources added. Pakistan had reportedly requested the British officials to facilitate the dialogue with disgruntled Baloch leaders.

The head of Baloch Republican Party (BRP) Brahamdagh Bugti has already indicated he is ready to give up demand of an independent Balochistan.

According to him, he wants resolution of all issues through political means and peaceful dialogue.—NNI
