MULTAN: Eight persons including five members of a family were killed and six injured in two road accidents in Dhanote and Khanpur on Tuesday.

According to details, five persons of a family were killed and five others were injured when a police van collided with a rickshaw at Dhanot in Lodhran The family was going to graveyard to repair the graves of their family members. As they reached near Kehror Pucca road, a prisoner van hit their rickshaw.

According to police sources, the injured have been shifted to nearby hospital. Meanwhile, a van carrying devotees dashed against a tree. Resultantly three persons died on the spot and two injured.
