RECORDER REPORT

LAHORE: The Chief Executive Officer LESCO will put the electricity transmission system in order to ensure smooth supplies to consumers during the summer season.

Chief Executive Officer LESCO Wajid Ali Kazmi has directed the staff to overhaul the system by and large to eradicate system intricacies during the current winter season.

Under the plan, transformers would be upgraded, electricity polls would be replaced and transmission lines would be replaced before the next summer. “As many as 350 transformers of 200Kv have been supplied in seven circles of the Company,” said the Company’s CEO.

He said a decision has been made to put the house in order ahead of summer, as the company would not create troubles for consumers during summer when the demand for electricity is on higher end.
