KARACHI: The Sindh Law Department has issued a notification with regard to the retirement of a number of judges on attaining the age of superannuation. The notification was issued with the approval of the competent authority (Chief Minister), said an official statement on Tuesday. District and Sessions Judge (BPS-21) Ms Naheed Iqbal shall stand retired from service with effect from October 18, 2017 in the afternoon. Aftab Ahmed Arain, Additional District & Sessions Judge (BPS-20) shall stand retired from service with effect from 29.09.2017 in the afternoon.

Saleem Qambrani, Senior Civil Judge (BPS-19) shall stand retired from service with effect from 21.08.2017 in the afternoon. Ms Moeen Bano Sodhar, Additional District & Sessions Judge (BPS-20) shall stand retired from service with effect from 08.08.2017 in the afternoon. Ramesh Kumar, Additional District & Sessions Judge (BPS-20) shall stand retired from service with effect from 01.08.2017 in the afternoon.

Abdul Hameed Qureshi, District & Sessions Judge (BPS-21) shall stand retired from service with effect from 15.07.2017 in the afternoon.

Ms Gulshan Ara Chandio, District & Sessions Judge (BPS-21) shall stand retired from service with effect from 29.03.2017 in the afternoon.

Ghulam Qadir Leghari, District & Sessions Judge (BPS-21) shall stand retired from service with effect from 19.03.2017 in the afternoon.

Fida Hussain Mughal, District & Sessions Judge (BPS-21) shall stand retired from service with effect from 06.02.2017 in the afternoon.

Abdul Sattar Abbas, Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate (BPS-18) shall stand retired from service with effect from 03.02.2017 in the afternoon and Abdul Rehman Bhatti, District & Sessions Judge (BPS-21) shall stand retired from service with effect from 31.01.2017 in the afternoon.
