LAHORE: The mercury level in city dropped to one percent in the late night hours on Wednesday while it jacked up to 18 degree centigrade during the day hours.

Meanwhile, the Met office pointed out that a cool breeze would continue to gust at a pace of 9 kilometres per hour that added to the cold weather all across the city. The moisture level in the air was recorded at 35 to 85 percent, it added.

The Met office sources said a cold spell would continue for another two to three days after snowfall in the northern areas. They have also predicted further drop in temperature after three days that may also bring rain in the city.

The weather forecast suggests that weather would remain dry and cold during next 24 hours while fog would also be experienced in open areas during the early morning hours.
