HYDERABAD: A 3-day international conference on the theme “China-Pakistan Economic Corridor: Political, Economic and Social perspectives” is kicking off at University of Sindh, Jamshoro today. The conference is being organized by Area Study Centre Far East & Southeast Asia of the varsity; which will be presided over by Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Government of Pakistan at the Auditorium of Faculty of Pharmacy.

Prof. Dr. Hammadullah Kakepoto, Director, FESEA will present welcome note; whereas, Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat, VC-SU would address the inaugural session.

Later, Federal Minister Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, Provincial Minister Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, former Foreign Secretary Najamuddin Shaikh will also speak on the occasion.
