PESHAWAR: Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has reaffirmed the commitment to steer the country out of the menace of terrorism saying that sacrifices of the armed forces of Pakistan have led to reviving the sense of security among the people.

Addressing a passing out parade of Frontier Corps (FC) at Warsak on Saturday, he said that the country had achieved major successes in the war on terror due to the sacrifices rendered by the security forces.

He said the war against terrorism would be taken to its logical conclusion with unity and harmony in our ranks.

The Interior Minister said that certain elements were on the payroll of the enemies and receiving funds from them to stoke anarchy and unrest in the country.

He said these elements were killing innocent people including children and women in the name of Islam who have distorted the image of Islam through their sordid acts.

Later, talking to the media persons, the minister said that the matter of Kulbushan Jadhav would be taken to its logical conclusion in accordance with the country’s law and constitution.

He said Kulbushan Jadhav was an Indian spy who was involved in heinous crimes against Pakistan. He added that Kulbhushan Jadhav was convicted as per the country’s law.

The Interior Minister said Pakistan desired cordial relations with the neighboring countries including Afghanistan.

He maintained that hearts of the peoples of Pakistan and Afghanistan beat together. He, however, said Pakistan would not accept the Afghan leadership to speak the language of the enemy, India.
