KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP-Sindh) AD Khowaja has directed AIG-Traffic to submit a detailed Traffic Management Plan for Karachi during the holy month of Ramazan.

In his directives issued here Sunday he also sought fool proof security arrangements at district, zones and police range levels of each and every mosque, imam bargah, madressah and designated sites of taraveehs in the metropolis. IGP-Sindh ordered the concerned officials to ensure that traffic cum security plans are finalized in close coordination with Pakistan Rangers - Sindh and other law enforcing agencies.

AD Khowaja said security related plans should be developed with due attention towards area-wise crime analysis coupled with law and order situation in other provinces. Reiterating that fool proof arrangements be also made for public security around the province, he said due stock be taken of highly sensitive and sensitive areas in particular context of Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali and sacred nights.

Seeking technical sweeping, clearance, advance intelligence collection and sharing, random snap checking, picketing and patrolling the Sindh Police Chief ordered prominent deployment of cops and intense operation against wanted criminals.
