LAHORE: In order to facilitate the passengers on the eve of Eid, the Pakistan Railways will start five special trains on Friday (today) from Karachi, Quetta Rawalpindi and Multan besides attaching additional passengers’ coaches with the scheduled trains throughout Pakistan.

According to PR official, more than 0.5 million passengers will get benefit from these special trains which will bring handsome additional revenue to the Railways.

The first special train will depart from Karachi city on Friday (today) at 11:00 am which will reach Peshawar Cant via Khanpur, Faisalabad and Jhelum.

The second special train will leave for Rawalpindi from Quetta at 11:30 am. The third train will leave for Lahore from Karachi Cant on July 25, Saturday, at 11:00 am. The fourth special train will leave from Rawalpindi on July 25 at 7:00 am which will reach Multan on the same day. The last special train of Eid will leave for Rawalpindi from Multan Cant on July 28 at 7:00 am. Special security and cleanliness arrangements have also been made by the concerned officers.
